Lyon County is accepting applications for 911 Dispatcher. The purpose of this position is to answer emergency and non-emergency calls for police, ambulance, and fire and CAT services. This position is also responsible for performing additional tasks as assigned by the Sheriff.  Minimum Qualifications Include: High school diploma required.  Individual must have strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure and strong technical/computer skills. The starting hourly rate of pay will be based on experience. Lyon County is accepting applications for the following temporary seasonal positions, approximately 30-40 hours per week for the following: Highway Maintenance and Parks and Environmental. Lyon County is accepting applications for the position of a full-time Correctional Officer in the jail; females are encouraged to apply.  Minimum Qualifications Include: high school diploma and valid driver’s license. The current range of hourly pay is $17.55-$24.56, with two pay increases in the first year of employment, and full county benefits.
