We all need the resources of the earth for our survival so keeping the planet in decent shape is for our own health & well-being. Besides, what kind of a legacy will we leave for the future generations if we aren't involved in environmental care? Read on for a few easy actions you can take to make a difference.

 1. Insulate walls & ceilings; this can save about 25% of home heating bills.  2. Caulk & weather-strip around doors & windows to plug air leaks.  3. Turn off lights & electronic devices when they're serving no purpose.  4. Conserve Water: *Fix leaks *Shut the water off while brushing teeth or shaving *Install low-flow showerheads & faucets.  5. Maintain & tune up your vehicle regularly for maximum gas mileage.  6. Buy energy-efficient compact fluorescent bulbs for your most-used lights. (Refer to hazardous waste section for info about where to bring spent bulbs.)  7. REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE & BUY RECYCLED.  8. 'Feed' your garden, not the trash can! COMPOST!  9.
