LYON COUNTY, MINNESOTA

 

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

The County of Lyon will receive bids in the Auditor/Treasurer Office at the Lyon County Government Center, 607 West Main Street,  Marshall, MN until  4:00 p.m. on March 8, 2013 for  the following:

 

                        PURCHASING  -       One (1) Compact Track Loader

 

All bids shall be made on the proposal forms of the County and shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier’s check, bid bond or certified check, payable to the order of the Lyon County Treasurer for not less than 5% of the bid.  Bids shall be directed to the Lyon County Environmental Administrator, securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper with a brief statement for the summary as to the work for which the bid is made.  The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in the bidding.  Specifications are on file at the office of the Environmental Administrator.   No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least 30 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. on March 19, 2013 by E.J. Moberg, Lyon
County Auditor/Treasurer, of Lyon County at the County Government Center at 607 West Main,
Marshall, MN 56258, on behalf of the Board of Commissioners for the construction of the
projects listed below. Proposals will be opened and read publicly in Commissioner Room # 7 of
the Lyon County Government Center in Marshall, Minnesota, immediately after the hour set for
receiving bids.
Minimum wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to
the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581 and implementing regulations.
READ CAREFULLY THE WAGE SCALES AND DIVISION A OF THE SPECIAL
PROVISIONS AS THEY AFFECT THIS/THESE PROJECT/PROJECTS
The Minnesota Department of Transportation hereby notifies all bidders: in accordance with
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Act), as amended and Title 49, Code of Federal
Regulations, Subtitle A Part 21, Non-discrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the
Department of Transportation, it will affirmatively assure that in any contract entered into
pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded maximum

shipping and tax). All Proposals must be on forms furnished by the Public Works Director.
Sealed Bids should be mailed to E.J. Moberg, Lyon County Auditor/Treasurer, 607 West
Main Street, Marshall, MN 56258 and must be clearly marked as a sealed bid for SP 042-
610-034 and SP 042-070-003. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid
bond, payable to the Treasurer of Lyon County, for at least 5% of the amount of the Bid. The

CLOSED: Notice for Request for Proposal - Camden Regional Bike Trail. Bidding on Mar 11, 2013

NOTICE FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Lyon County will be accepting sealed bids for Request for Proposal for Camden Regional Bike
Trail. Proposals will be accepted until 10:30 a.m. on March 11, 2013 at the Auditor/Treasurer’s
Office, Lyon County Government Center, 607 West Main Street, Marshall, MN 56258. The
County is requesting separate bids for Phase 1, Phase 2 and also combined Phase 1 and 2. Each
Proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with ‘Request for Proposal,
Camden Regional Bike Trail’ and the bid opening date and time.

ONE TANDEM DIESEL TRUCK  INCLUDING BOX, HOIST,  HYDRAULIC EQUIPMENT AND SNOW EQUIPMENT

Specifications may be examined at the office of the Public Works Director at the Fairgrounds in Marshall, MN.  Proposals may be ordered by calling the Lyon County Public Works office at 507-532-8205. There is no charge for the Proposal.
