For curbside pick-up, bag materials by category---tin cans; aluminum cans; glass; plastics; newspaper; magazines/catalogs & home/office papers can be together; paperboard packaging can go with newspaper or office paper.

GLASS BOTTLES and JARS

Unbroken clear, brown or green
Empty & clean
Remove & discard caps

No: plastic containers without the acceptable symbol & number; hose; toys; pipe; plastic bags or wrap

NEWSPAPER & HOME/OFFICE PAPER

Dry & clean

CARDBOARD & Paper Grocery Bags

Break down & flatten cardboard boxes

Wet or dirty cardboard boxes or paper bags

PAPERBOARD PACKAGING

Examples: Cereal, cracker, macaroni or cake boxes.         
Remove any liners, cellophane, plastic or any metal edges. And flatten the package.

Waxed packaging such as milk or juice cartons, ice cream cartons, margarine boxes, pizza cartons

If you use the recycling sheds,
place materials in the marked containers located inside the sheds.
