Lyon County is hiring for summer help positions, approximately 40 hours per week for the following: 1 Highway Maintenance, 2 Parks Worker, and 1 Household Hazardous Waste Worker. Approximate start date of May 18, 2026 through August 21, 2026. These positions are well suited to high school and college students who would like to work during the summer months. Minimum Requirements: 16 years of age for Parks and 18 years of age for Highway Maintenance and Household Hazardous Waste, with a valid driver’s license for all positions.  Starting hourly pay is $15.00.  Application forms are available at the Lyon County Administrators Office or online at www.lyonco.org/employment.
