Lyon County is hiring a Seasonal Landfill Worker from approximately mid-April through mid-October.  The position will provide general maintenance at the Lyon County Landfill; mowing, light equipment maintenance, assisting with recycling duties as needed, and performing additional tasks as assigned. Applicants should enjoy working outdoors and have experience with grounds maintenance. Starting hourly pay is $20.05.  Minimum Requirements: 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.  Application forms are available at the Lyon County Administrator’s Office or online at www.lyonco.org/employment.  Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of a county application.
