For the safety of the citizens and employees of Lyon County, we are taking active measures to prevent COVID-19 from entering County buildings. We ask your cooperation in that effort by considering the following:

  • If your visit to one of the County buildings is not necessary immediately, please consider postponing it until this crisis subsides.
  • If you have been experiencing any symptoms like a new cough or suspected fever, please schedule your visit after you stop having symptoms.
  • If you must enter a County building, please immediately wash your hands in the closest restroom. Please use sufficient soap and scrub your hands for 20 seconds before rinsing with water.
  • Please contact the department that you wish to do business with before coming to the building to determine if what you need can be done by another means, such as electronic or mail. Contact information is available on this website by going to the department’s tab.
