Lyon County hosts a unique computer refurbishing program; collecting unwanted, usable computer equipment to refurbish for reuse.  Qualifying County Residents can receive a complete laptop for FREE. Lincoln, Lyon, Yellow Medicine, Rock, Renville, Redwood, Pipestone and Lac Qui Parle County residents who currently receive services from an existing income-based service (e.g. medical assistance, SWCIL, Human Services, heating assistance, etc.) may qualify. 

Lyon County collects the following usable computer equipment at the Public Works Building / HHW Facility. free of charge for refurbishing:
